Troponin C, Rabbit (skeletal muscle)

Troponin C (TnC), the calcium-binding subunit of the troponin complex, exists in three isoforms: cardiac muscle, fast-twitch skeletal muscle, and slow-twitch skeletal muscle. The slow-twitch and cardiac isoforms are thought to be identical.

This preparation of TnC is derived from rabbit skeletal muscle and is supplied as a liquid in 10mM Sodium Phosphate, 150mM Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2 ± 0.1, with 0.02% Sodium Azide as a preservative. Protein concentration is determined by the Bradford method.
